"Umah
Watu" Villas, Bali, are situated in Seminyak (the heart of
Bali) - approximately 300 meters from Legian Surf Beach, at the
rear of the famous Oberoi Hotel. Also around 10 minutes walk to
the "gay" beach at Taman Ganesha (Callego Massage).
This
unique “Guest House/Villa Style” accommodation is
hidden amongst the rice paddies ensuring a very quiet, peaceful
and relaxing location.
Walking
distance to the renowned Jalan Oberoi and Jalan Lasmana, (300
meters) where all the new and well-known restaurants are. e.g.
Ku De Ta, La Lucciola, The Living Room, Hu'u Bar, Trattoria, Soho
& Rumors, just to mention a few. Also a short walk to Jalan
Dhyana Pura where the nightlife is full on in the many new and
world renown bars, discos, and clubs (Kudos, Q Bar and Mixwell
Lounge Bar).
Two
charming identical authentic Balinese style villas border a central
in-ground "infinity" swimming pool. Clothing is "optional"
around the pool area. They can be rented separately, or together.
Single rooms are also available and great for the individual who
would like to meet up and socialize with other guests.
There
is a large "teak retreat" style upstairs bedroom with
outdoor en suite bathroom that has views of the volcanoes and
rice paddies, but is separate to the other villas. All bedrooms
are equipped with air conditioning, magnificently appointed en
suite indoor/outdoor bathrooms, a dressing area, with built in
robes, dressing table, mini bar and safety deposit boxes. Four-poster
King size beds and kelambu (mosquito nets, rarely needed but add
to the Balinese style decor). Bedrooms are closely located to
the living areas which remain open to the swimming pool.
The
colorfully decorated, and most comfortable living rooms are equipped
with satellite television, DVD and sound system, library and a
variety relaxing chairs and sofas.
The
dining areas offer large accommodating tables and chairs. The
open plan living areas provide fully equipped European Kitchens
with crockery and utensils. Tea and coffee is complimentary. Beer,
soft drinks, and juices are always available and provided at a
very reasonable cost.
Villas
provide 8 of the most delightful and attentive staff consisting
of 2 Villa Managers, 4 Villa Attendants, security and a driver.
They will attend to your every need. All rooms are double or sole-occupancy.
Rates include a full American breakfast.
